NAJIB TEACHES ANWAR ON HOW TO DO IT.

After telling the biggest lie to the whole Nation on the September 16th change of Government and making excuses like having the numbers but was refused a meeting with the Prime Minister bla bla bla, Dato’ Sri Najib finally showed Anwar Ibrahim on how to take over a Government. Najib finally walked Anwar’s talk.

Below are some titles and snippets I thought of while reflecting on the situation in Perak.

WHAT’S LOSING A COUPLE OF BY-ELECTIONS WHEN NAJIB WINS BN A WHOLE STATE?

Indeed many may have blamed Dato' Sri Najib Razak for losing the last two by-elections, though they were in places where we didn’t even have a snowball’s chance in hell. One was because it’s a stronghold of an illusive icon, and the other was because our candidate thought and behaved like he was God’s gift to Kuala Terengganu. Najib can be excused and forgiven for the two when he cleaned his entire slate by winning BN the whole of Perak.

PAK LAH LOST US FIVE STATES, NAJIB WINS US ONE BACK!

The outgoing Prime Minister who was almost indifferent when BN lost 5 states in the 2008 elections has made the people more angry with UMNO with his reckless attempt at allowing indiscriminate transparency apparently targeting only UMNO members alone. Fortunately for UMNO which is almost at its lowest ebb, the incoming Prime Minister almost single-handedly won us back the northern Silver State of Perak. This is indeed a good omen for UMNO as it will continue to rise to greater heights in the hands of the new Prime Minister come March 2009. This is just a taste of things to come. Be ready.

WHAT’S WRONG WITH ACCEPTING THE TWO PKR REJECTS INTO THE BN FOLD TUN?

BN shouldn’t be worried about losing the confidence of the people in the 13th General Elections just because we accept these two fellows into the fold because the Rakyat never sought their resignations after they were charged for corruption as is the standard procedure in UMNO whenever any of our leaders are charged. They continued to hold their positions in the State Government without having to go on leave and without any complaints from the people who voted them in. In fact, they were defended by their former leaders in Pakatan by saying that they were "innocent until proven guilty". That means they were accepted by the people who voted them in. Why should it be any different just because they have switched sides? We are just giving the Rakyat what they want. End of story.

THANKS FOR THE CAMRY!

I wonder if Najib actually waited for the Camrys to be delivered safely complete with the added accessories before making this move so that the people cannot put any blame on the BN office bearers when they cruise downtown in it in Ipoh. They sure look flashy! The new MB should hold a press conference and a special function just to accept the keys on behalf of his new State Cabinet.

Salam TPJ, posting yg menarik.. akhirnya Najib telah menunjukkan taringnya yg sebenarnya.. Nampak gayanya dia mmg "Pakar Taktikal" ala Sir Alex Ferguson.

(Bau showroom Toyota pun belum hilang)

Salam TPJ
They were indeed interesting developments the past week. The situation was fluid; when we were looking forward the by-elections, we were told there might be fresh elections, then this takeover of the state by the BN.
Interestingly enough, when none of the PR guys spoke against Nasaruddin’s crossover to their side, they were up in arms when Nasaruddin returned to UMNO and the three turned Independents. What, they can get crossovers but BN can’t?
And Nizar is still holding on to the post but for who … the rakyat or PR?
I sincerely believe that the Sultan had made the best decision for the state and the raykat.

BoyHjJamil,

Memang tepat!Pakatan macam anak pondan yang mengadu domba apabila rancangan jahat dia terkena di mukanya sendiri. Buat kat orang boleh, bila kena balik, lari kat mak menangis sambil menutup muka dan menonggekkan bontot. Ikut tabiat ketua dia lah tu agaknya.

Cik Fauziah,

Also, don't forget that Pakatan were rooting for the two fellows to be cleared of corruption. Now if their wish comes true, they'll say that BN had a hand in it and that the two were actually corrupted.

Doesn't it make you sick? And they actually still have followers?

The aim does not justifies the means!

I'm not on any body's side, but I just feel that this small win is a sign of a big fall if the means of achieving this win is not a morally right one.

V,

I agree with you on the first two paragraphs except for the fact that if we save the Muslims from being used and be puppets of the Chinese chauvanist party, Kenikmmatan dan Baraqah sudah tentu akan dihujani keatas kita oleh Allah SWT.

If you are not on anybody's side, why were you silent when Anwar was garnering support to take over the Federal Govt. Why were you also silent when the Bota rep switched sides to PKR? Why are you all riled up just because BN was successful in achieving what Anwar can only brag and lie to the whole country about?

Truth be told, I too was anxious to see if a new government would take over last Sept 16, and if so I would have had much respect for Anwar for doing what he said he would. But then he proved himself yet again that he is a big liar. So, I now know that I'm with the right team.

You want to talk about morals? We are not up in arms against Angels in the Pakatan. As you have amplified in your blog, politicians are scum.

We elected a leader with high morals as PM. The cleanest person in the whole Malaysian political structure. Where did that get us? We are up in arms against each other almost in a magnitude not unlike that prior to May 13th 1969.

I am not on anyone's side, as I reiterated time and time again. I just stopped blogging abt politics temporarily coz I was so fed up abt it. It is not an adverse inference by omission, if you know what I mean.

The fact that I blogged on this topic again was because the blatant lack of ethics that has been shown in our politicians lately, i.e. the Perak's case!

And if you had read the posting well, U'd have seen that I attacked the politician's credibility and intergrity without any special reference any party. It is meant to be a reminder to all of me, me included, that as an individual, you must first be responsible and honest with yourself before you can be expected to be honest and responsible to the rakyat.

I've got nothing to gain, personally nor financially, supporting either camps. I have always distanced myself and my business from the likes of them, and my opinions are all my own personal convictions.

While U are openly an 'orang UMNO', I'm neither an UMNO member nor an opposition member. I strive to be politically neutral, and only lambast the individuals involved in the parties for their unethical and unprecedented actions.

We are told time and again, that prevention is better than cure. Had you and everyone else who are experiencing this foul taste lambasted Anwar for throwing the idea in the first place when he announced with full conviction that he was taking over the federal government on Sept 16th, the politicians, PAKATAN as well as UMNO would know then that it's not ok. But since everyone kept their tongues tied when Anwar wanted to do it, it now seems very queer when the "neutrals" come out raging after UMNO decided to walk Anwar's talk. The timing is very suspect. No use in complaining when it's all said and done. We should have complained when it was said but not quite done yet. It would have lent credence to our conviction, if you know what I mean.
